Route Instruction and Introduction

(一)Origin of the plan：
The Taoyuan MRT Phase 2 road network plan report was approved by the Ministry of Transportation on May 6, 2022. The Taoyuan Qingpu Line (currently the MRT Qingpu Line) has been planned as an early promotion route to strengthen the connection between Taoyuan District and Taoyuan District. Transportation links to Taoyuan High Speed Rail Station.
(二)Plan content：
The MRT Green Line will connect four administrative districts including Taoyuan, Luzhu, Dayuan and Zhongli, with a total length of approximately 13 kilometers. This plan analyzes the transportation needs from Taoyuan to Qingpu High Speed Rail Station, and takes into account overall urban development, mass transportation and traffic planning, terrain along the route, project feasibility, construction cost and financial benefits, and local people’s opinions, etc. to propose a suitable route. and feasible solutions for the station.
Plan handling status
It is currently in the feasibility study stage. The feasibility study was awarded on October 6, 2023, and relevant data collection and evaluation operations are currently underway, as well as the revision and review of the feasibility study interim report.
